How ISP Ireland Works

The Irish Government wants more international students to come and study in Ireland. Indeed, it sees the internationalism of its education system as crucial to attracting foreign investment, thereby boosting its economy. Here at ISP Ireland, we work as the ‘link’ between the universities/colleges and the international students. We don’t work for any one particular institution and therefore offer unbiased assistance. Put simply, we are here to smooth the way.

How much more efficient is it for both university and student when the application pack arrives with no missing documents or information?

How much easier is it for the college to have a contact based in Ireland with whom they can quickly progress the student’s application?

And how much more reassuring is it for the student to have someone at the end of the phone who understands your individual circumstances? Someone who has experience of being both an international student and a university admissions officer.

OUR SERVICE COVERS:

1. Helping you choose the most suitable institution and course. There are several different types of institution to be found in Ireland. With students having the choice of the university sector, the technological sector, the colleges of education or the private, independent colleges, you’re sure to find the right place for you. Within these you’ll find an extensive list of subjects on offer, covering: Arts and Design, Arts and Humanities, Business, Engineering, IT, Health Sciences and Science. Your budget, course interest, lifestyle preferences and your qualifications will all have an impact on which you choose. We can help you make an informed decision, including advising on how your qualifications equate to the admissions criteria.

2. Submitting your application pack. We know what the universities and colleges are looking for in your application. We provide you with assistance in compiling all your documents and ensuring you have competently illustrated your suitability for a place.

3. Securing your place and selecting your accommodation. Again, we act as the interface between you and the institution, making sure your application is received and that you hear as soon as an acceptance decision is made. While we cannot act as letting agents and book accommodation for you, we give you all the options and once you have chosen where you will stay, we will ensure that all red tape is complete upon your arrival.

4. Getting your student visa. Once you have secured your place and paid your tuition fees (directly to the institution), you will need to obtain your student visa. This needn’t be a confusing part of the application process and we can help you along the way – from advising you on when and how to apply, to preparing you for your visa interview.

5. Settling in. All too often, international students have concerns in the initial settling in period and have no-one to turn to. These worries, more often that not, turn out to be easily solved queries such as those concerning banking, paying your bills, contacting home and getting used to a new culture. At ISP Ireland, we’ll be there for you at this time – a familiar voice to soothe your anxiety.
